Daisy and Amy: A Vegas Elopement Full of Love, Laughter, and Lady Elvis
As a Las Vegas elopement photographer, I get to capture all kinds of weddings, but every now and then, a couple comes along that truly embodies the spirit of this city—bold, unique, and full of surprises. That’s exactly what Daisy and Amy brought to their elopement day. This adventurous couple from the UK wasn’t interested in a conventional wedding; they wanted something that felt as vibrant, fun, and full of love as their relationship. And Las Vegas, with its kitschy charm and electric energy, was the perfect backdrop.
They chose the Sure Thing Chapel, a venue known for its quirky, retro appeal—exactly the kind of place where their playful personalities could shine. This wasn’t just any Vegas wedding, either. Daisy and Amy’s celebration was an LGBTQ+ friendly affair in a city that’s built on inclusivity, where everyone has the freedom to love as they choose. From the moment I arrived, I could feel the love and excitement buzzing in the air. Their closest friends and family had flown all the way from the UK to be there, and the joy in the room was palpable.
But Daisy wasn’t done with the surprises for her new wife. When Lady Elvis walked into the chapel to officiate, I knew this one was going to be special. The King’s alter ego brought a whole new level of flair to the vows, infusing the ceremony with humor, heart, and a touch of rock ‘n’ roll. Daisy and Amy exchanged their promises to each other in a setting that was as much about celebrating life as it was about their love. They even added on the classic vintage car for some amazing photo ops.
The ceremony was a perfect reflection of the couple’s spirit—unconventional, unapologetic, and full of joy. It was like a living snapshot of their relationship: authentic, spontaneous, and completely true to who they are. Every laugh, every moment, felt real and raw—nothing about it was staged or rehearsed.
After the ceremony, we all made our way through the bright, bustling streets of downtown Las Vegas—a place as full of life and energy as Daisy and Amy’s love. The photos we captured that afternoon are some of my favorites, filled with candid moments of laughter, carefree strolls, and the beautiful chaos of the city. Whether we were posing inside record stores and tattoo shops, soaking in the colorful street art, or simply wandering through the crowds, the magic of Vegas felt like it was wrapping itself around us.
The celebration didn’t end there, we headed over to Evel Pie, one of Vegas’ most eclectic and fun pizza spots. It was the perfect place to wind down, share slices, and swap stories of the day. Between the funky decor and the laughter echoing through the room, it was clear that Daisy and Amy had created the ultimate celebration—one that felt totally authentic to them.
As a photographer, what I love most about days like this is how each moment feels like it was made just for the couple. From the whimsical ceremony to the impromptu adventures in the streets of Vegas, everything about their day felt like a perfect reflection of their love: carefree, joyful, and undeniably them. And that’s what makes elopements like Daisy and Amy’s so special—they’re not just about the vows; they’re about the experience, the memories, and the moments that reflect who they truly are as a couple.
It was an unforgettable day, and I can say without a doubt: it was the best day ever. The energy, the love, the laughter—it was all captured perfectly in the photos, and it will stick with me for years to come. Daisy and Amy’s elopement was one of those rare, magical days that remind me why I love being a Las Vegas elopement photographer.
